By using this website and the Call Filter application (Android and iOS), you accept the terms and conditions stated in this privacy policy.
Personal data
The Call Filter application requires no personal information whatsoever from the user, nor does it collect or store such information via any technical means or otherwise. Furthermore, the application does not utilize or retain any device identifiers, such as SIM card numbers, IMEI and MAC addresses, or any other unique identifiers. These data are not required for the application's proper functioning.
Android System Permissions
The Call Filter is designed to utilize the minimum amount of permissions possible. It requires only a single essential permission, as well as one optional one, to function properly.
To ensure proper functionality, it is necessary to grant the Default Call App permission when using Android versions 7, 8 and 9. This permission enables the Call Filter to access incoming call numbers and compare them to the unwanted numbers database, the black and white lists. It is important to note that this permission does not replace the default calling interface and will not cause any interface alterations. Without this permission, the Call Filter may not work as intended.
With regard to Android 10 and later, the Default Spam Blocker App permission is required.
While the Read Contacts permission is not essential for the Call Filter to operate, it is required to implement the Ignore Contacts feature. Once enabled, the Call Filter will only access your contacts list to verify if the incoming number is included when a call comes in. The application will not interact with your contacts in any other way. Activating the mentioned option will ensure the Call Filter operates more efficiently.
