They demanded payment for a debt I didn't even owe. When I tried to explain, I was interrupted and threatened with legal action. It felt like I was talking to a robot programmed to harass innocent people. On top of that, the call quality was terrible. It sounded like they were talking through a tin can tied to a rope. I was already expecting them to ask for my credit card information to fix their ancient phone system. (robocall / recorded message)
